This is the proud of town Solkan a few km from my home. Is a railway stone bridge over 100 years old and its arch span of 85m is the biggest stone arch on railway bridges in the world. Intto the first world war was destroyed while here was the first line between Austrians and Italians. Captured this shot while walking across the Brooklyn Bridge from Brooklyn to Manhattan. A fellow co-worker suggested that is one of those “must do” things while visiting NYC. I have to agree that he was right on. Taken with Nikon D300 and Tokina 12-24mm, Tripod Mounted, remote shutter release. Post processed with ReDynaMix, Noise Ninja, CS3 and Digital Lightroom.

When a dose of the flu looks like it’s going to scupper the village’s Winter Solstice celebrations Drew, along with the stones from the local stone circle on the moor, must track down the ingredients for his mother’s heal-all herbal remedy.
