  • It was a dark and stormy night …

  • Both the wharfies and I were working late during the Sydney Harbour Bridge’s birthday celebrations in 2007. It was the most dynamic I’d seen the bridge looking and I had some time to kill while some jobs ran, so the tripod and DSLR came out for this shot. Long exposure was needed to get the scene exposed and added a nice touch of motion on the crane. Between the wharf and the bridge the high density Rocks area can be seen. / . / . /

  • The Yarra – Southbank – Melbourne City

  • These boats were coming into port as the sun was setting. The colors of the sunset were the softest I have ever seen them. This was taken at Herzilyah, near the Dan Accadia Hotel in Israel.

  • Sea Fever I must go down to the sea again, to the lonely sea and the sky, / And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by; / And the wheel’s kick and the wind’s song and the white sail’s shaking, / And a gray mist on the sea’s face, and a gray dawn breaking. John Masefield

  • There once was a mighty whale…. And a bored young man who let his imagination get carried away one afternoon….

  • A twilight view of the Manhattan skyline as seem from across the Hudson River in New Jersey. The cruise ship to the left is called “Norwegian Dawn” / just in case one of you may have went for a cruise on it!

  • Please feel free to critique: This gas boat anchored off Cape Town’s shores for alomst 3 months due to the hazardous cargo load (id you can call it that) / . / . /
