  • A pic taken in semi rain till before the night comes on the day on the valey of river Soca in Slovenija. This is a wanderful valey .. a must see if you are somewhere near the Italian Slovenian border. Here was the first world war front line.. on the left mountain were Italians and on the right Austrians. A sad story that surround this incredible emerald river.. You will see this river in next months in the Walt Disney Cronichles of Narnia II movie. • Boredom can make you come up with some strange things! :)

  • An untouched close up(with exposure)of a submerged brige when a few beaver’s dams just collaps a couple of nights ago.I couldn’t drink or even used the water in my house for 2 days.We were not able to go out of our area for a day.It happenned at night and we could hear the raging fload so loud,it was amazing. The firemen were at the bridge watching when I took that close-up.This image is the result of the destroyed bridge, half of it just went along with the water,a very impressive scene to see and to hear because of the dead trees and rocs rolling over the road. The little touches of colors you see are the reflection comming from the lights of the firemen’s truck.I didn’t know if I would have enough light,in fact I didn’t have any idea about the result.I thought about using exposure for the creamy texture….I just remember that my boyfriend kept asking me,how much time you still need,5 or 10 min. and I answered 15 …. :)) He wanted to go to sleep,it was 1 o’clock in the morning. / / /

  • What do you call the light that permanently imprints itself into the deepest corner of your cerebral real estate? Just a memorable one, divine, sublime? The star was going down fast, as it was just a matter of ‘to get it over and done with‘ a daily sunset routine – until that moment. Like it was switched on by some all powerful hand residing somewhere in the center of a kingdom of light, the sunbeam reached across the valley, bringing all the associated attributes with it, like joy and warmth, just for a few moments, before disappearing altogether. The blue cold haze drowned the beautiful Hawkes Bay valley, but not before the last ray of sun got there first. I was standing in awe … for a while in fact, still in disbelief. Review button and LCD screen confirmed it did happen. Sweet. I’ll treasure selfishly the melody of breeze passing through the treetops, the smell of golden grass and feel of fallen leafs under my feet. Not to worry, I left something to share with you. Here it is.

  • Surfers Paradise as seen from the council chambers(the fish were biting) looking across the Nerang River, Gold Coast

  • Night time shot, taken in the backwaters of the River Murray, near Lyrup in the Riverland area of South Australia. Beautiful still night with mirror image reflections of the majestic dead river gums. BEST Viewed large. Canon 400D 18-55 lens. Processed in Photoshop CS3.

  • This is definately one of the most beautiful places of the world, at the most beautiful time of the day :) Noosa River, Noosaville, Queensland. 1000’s of Rainbow Lorikeets fly above, in their afternoon social time, hanging out in the tall Gum Trees. If you stand within 50 metres of the tree, you can’t hear yourself think for the noise, it’s so wonderful an experience! This colour happens most nights, but this cloud formation does not happen often at all, in my opinion, the perfect sky :) I hope you enjoy this shot, as much as I enjoyed shooting this one. Available Large, and best viewed large. Actual print size is 1600mm x 1000mm. Canon 50D, 10mm, no filters needed, as this was the true colour of the evening.

  • Black is in darkness / where secrets will hide / a passionate grief / an immeasurable sigh / we forget, we forget / and it takes by surprise White is in light / where truth will be told / stumbling past younger days / until we’re too old / we remember, we remember / and it breaks at the soul A mystery deepens / where we’re fooled by the sight / of no light in pure dark / and no dark in pure light / yet they mix, yet they mix / come the falling of night —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- Location: Broughty Ferry, Tayside, Scotland © Donald Cameron 2009 / Monophotography.co.uk

  • My Website The River of Dreams In the middle of the night / I go walking in my sleep / From the mountains of faith / To the river so deep / I must be looking for something / Something sacred I lost / But the river is wide / And its too hard to cross And even though I know the river is wide / I walk down every evening and stand on the shore / I try to cross to the opposite side / So I can finally find what Ive been looking for In the middle of the night / I go walking in my sleep / Through the valley of fear / To a river so deep / Im a searcher for something / Taken out of my soul / Something Id never lose / Something somebody stole I dont know why I go walking at night / But now Im tired and I dont wanna walk anymore / Hope it doesnt take the rest of my life / Until I find what it is Ive been looking for In the middle of the night / I go walking in my sleep / Through the jungle of doubt / To the river so deep / I know Im searching for something / Something so undefined / That it can only be seen / By the eyes of the blind / In the middle of the night Im not sure about a life after this / God knows Ive never been a spiritual man / Baptized by the fire, I wade into the river / That is running to the promised land In the middle of the night / I go walking in my sleep / Though the desert of truth / To the river so deep / We all end in the ocean / We all start in the streams / Were all carried along / By the river of dreams / In the middle of the night Billy Joel
