Like a fairytale castle Mont Saint Michel at dusk in the rain, I got wet and cold but it was worth it for images like this. A blended exposure using HDR techniques. This shot was taken at the Broadmoor resort in Colorado Springs, CO. The most amazing electrical storm came through. It was quite a ways in the distance. The cloud coverage was interesting which sat low over our heads. Lightning flashed about every three seconds. It was truly spectacular. It never rained where I was standing. Noise Reduction software applied due to the high ISO setting. I put the camera on a tripod and kept clicking. The pool house was in the foreground and Cheyenne Mountain in the background.

Stroller was shot on the footbridge in Beecroft over the M2 Motorway in Sydney, Australia. Apart from the selective colouring (the yellow is original) and some cropping, the image is basically as is. Shot using a Canon EOS 10D with EF 70-300mm DO IS zoom lens at 70mm, ISO 100, 2 secs at f4.5
