Wow! What a fantastic night we all had at the Unleashed 07 Gallery Opening. It was so great to meet so many RedBubblers there. Thank you all for making the night so much fun and such a success. It is still shown below, for now (but I will remove shortly) Please note, due to formatting, I can only show the two shifts in order 10-2 and 2-6. they are separated by a comma, eg (10-2) fred, (2-6) junior If there are two people for the same shift, I will show it as eg rob/shaun This is a volunteer basis, so firstly, let me say a big thank you for all those who have offered their time. When you are there, you get to represent a lot of artists, who may one day, due to our collective efforts, may not have to do that day job as much!!! ( wouldn’t we all love that!) The aim is that we all help out and by giving time, we gain an enjoyable experience and share our art with the public who may also purchase the art. Bearing this in mind, please remember your afternoon arrival may be gladly awaited by the morning person who has other things on. Or, that keen early morning shopper may be waiting for you to arrive at 10am-there are lots of those at this time of year! We all appreciate your efforts to keep the commitments made. If changes occur, please notify someone who can replace you (and let me know) asap. I’m sure you all do the best you can, and together, as we’ve already seen, we can make amazing things happen. Opening Night for New Artist Run Gallery / A brand new gallery opening in Milsons Point, Sydney run by our very own Steve McLaren. Featuring some of our own RedBubble artists such as: Steve McLaren aka bodymechanic / Marilyn Brown aka mbartworks / Sam aka Sunset / Andrew Bosman / Brett Keith aka miloman / Sara Lamond / Marco Britti / Sarah Moore / Surface / As well as many other amazing artists. So support your fellow artists and attend the opening night, enjoy some food, music and meet up with some Sydney Redbubblers! The Gallery is really easy to get to being a 5 minute walk from Milsons Point station or 2 minute walk up the hill from Milsons Point Wharf. It’s located directly behind Luna Park. After opening night the gallery will be open 7 days a week from 10 to 6pm. If you wish to check out the gallery outside those times just contact either Sarah Moore or Steve McLaren by bubblemail.

As you may already know John Conway, Heather Hartkamp, Al Miller, and myself currently have an exhibition running. Friday night was our Opening, and a great success it was, better than any of us hoped for, a couple of sales were made, and a lot of interest shown in our work. / It is on for the next 2 weeks at the Cottage, 350 Pakington Street, Newtown. Well like a few other bubblers I’m very excited about the opening of Gallery 26 Milsons Point in just 9 days! The gallery is really starting to look great – from the pics I’ve seen that is – I’ve been busy building a website! I’m not opposed to you bring an extra bottle or offering of food, which ever your gender-as long as you find a way! On the day, we need someone to help organise the food, as I’m not going to be there til 7.30-so if you can have it presented in the best way possible, it makes it easier for all to enjoy themselves!
