This is my daughters horse and he is terribly photogenic. But … and a big but. I am not a photographer (I write) and this was taken by a friend while she was visiting (so of course it is not for sale).

This balloon filled with water & was pricked with a pin by my assistant. I snapped this shot within a nanosecond capturing the waterbody still in the balloon form & parts of the red balloon flying in opposite directions. The image was captured with a Canon 40D with a f4 20-700 USM IS L lens in single shot mode with a shutter speed of 1/8000,f4,ISO 600. / The image was shot in raw and processed in adobe raw then CS3 where the background was removed & replaced with black.

Backwash launches a surfer into the air
This is a late edition to my Swan Lake series where I captured my beautiful model Kylie with Tulle blowing in the wind. 3 seperate exposures layered into one & with speedlite lighting and a dark curved sky reminds me of old paintings. Shot in the hills east of Perth / Canon 40D 17-85mm lens, f14,1/250, ISO 250, EX580 master, EX430 slave, psot processing photoshop CS3
This is one of a few images of my beautiful model Tarah during our sunset beach shoot. Perth Australia has the best beaches in the world & such a gorgeous model on our white sand is just the icing on the cake. / The image was captured 8.20pm summer time just as the hot summer sun kisses the ocean. / The images was Captured with a Canon 40D with a EF-S 17-85mm lens,f10,1/250,ISO400,evaluative metering,focal length 85mm,EX580 2 speedlite ETTL mode with softbox,gold reflector,RAW. / Post processing in ACR then photoshop CS3, 2 images were created with a darker version to give the backround some punch & the lighter copy saved for the model then airbrushed. / The lighter image of the model was retained and it was layered over the darker background.

This is an exercise in blur with PS Elements – the original photo was Nigel Mansell stationary on the grid. I’m not 100% sure of the outcome but thought I would put it up for comments. Edit – Added some radial blur to the tyres and tidied up a few edge details.
