A beautiful misty sunrise, in the glorious Blue Mountains! Taken South-West of Katoomba along Narrow Neck Ridge. Aligned perfectly with the sun rising directly over the three sisters, and echo point at the southern end of Katoomba. Although they are not recognisable here, they are hiding in the glare! The tall pines are probably the biggest give away! I hope you like the shot, I battled the cold to capture this one :)

This tee is for the Flash Fiction/ATR collaboration comp. I teamed up with the lovely Anne van Alkemade . / The challenge was Anne writes, i design a tee to accompany it! Fun stuff indeed. / ‘Skullduggery’ was the theme. Here’s the story she gave me: / Sanguine Rose / “Scarlet by name, scarlet by nature,” Mick boomed as he entered the room. “My name’s Ruby,” she replied. “Semantics,” he answered. “Why am I here? What designs have you done for my label?” he said in his best ‘getting down to business’ tone. Ruby stood back from her draft board. “I call it Sanguine Rose,” she said confidently. Mick looked at the monotone outline. “It’s black and white! Where’s the fucking colour?” Ruby raised an eyebrow quizzically, and looked across to her pallet where the array of colours were about to be applied before she was so rudely interrupted. “Perhaps you would like to add the colour yourself,” she ventured. The silvery blade appeared and in a firm, sweeping motion, Ruby plunged it deep into his back and out the other side, causing a huge red bubble to explode all over his chest, a sanguine rose blossoming across the fabric. There is also a message for you here…..Something is worrying you, churning around in your mind. Do this simple exercise. Write everything down on a piece of paper, writing a stream of consciousness without stopping to read what you have written. When you have expressed all your thoughts and there is nothing longer going around your mind, release those thoughts by burning the paper. Just let it all go. You are being told to lighten your load, and to consider how you can simplify your life and make it easier for yourself by having some fun and enjoying every moment.
