  • Walking up the flume we saw this wonderful waterfall (as did about 1000 other tourists, too ;c) ... )

  • NHS Dental Care – It Worked for Me!!

  • This ole 35mm color slide I took of Stinson Lake NH a number of years back…with post editing I wanted it to look like a painting. I hold fond childhood memories of this beautiful lake and cabins we rented during the summer when I was a young child…my Uncle would take me across the lake in a canoe or small boat to a little country store and I would buy something for a nickle…this place still holds much spirit/magic for me. Would love to visit it again in the summer and stay in one of the four cabins for a week… / / /

  • I love this time of year!!!! / taken In Derry NH

King’s images are a celebration of life, blending the real and the surreal to achieve a sense of place or time that reaches beyond the moment into a dreamlike quintessentialism designed to spark an emotional response. Using digital enhancement, handcrafting, painting, and sometimes even straight photography, King seeks to take the viewer to a place that is beyond simple truth to where truth meets passion, hope and dreams. Wayne King blogs about various aspects of his work, his ideas and his images at UnifiedVisions.Blogspot.com; OpportunityAfrica.Blogspot.com and AfricanPhotoJourney.Blogspot.com. • Ya gutta get me off the big flower first! 10 points….. bling bling…. I love posing! My name is froggy even tho I’m a toad, I love to pose… ohhhh yeah!! After which I hide in my human neighbor’s planters… and try to look like a rock….even a muddy rock….. or something else…. but for some reason they are on to me and get me posing again with their darned big eye cameras!!! Sigh….

  • Little spring wonders, these incredibly tiny flowers, most about the size of a hat pin’s pearl top, are growing like crazy on the dark side of our house. Shade loving plants, these really thrive and look great mixed with Hosta. They bloom in the early to mid spring creating a carpet of little lovelies! Macro taken As Is straight from the camera early 16th of May 2009. As Is from the camera. • The woodpecker with the fluffy orange forehead is being fed by daddy. Dad tends to stay really close by this youngster showing him/her the ropes and I so enjoyed watching the love and feeling of these two in action! Known as Hoary woodpeckers – fun birds! As is, straight from the camera taken in June 2009 in Rumney, NH. Camera: Canon PowerShot SX10 IS / Shutter speed: 1/101 sec. / Lens Aperture F/5.7 / Focal Length 100mm / F-Number F/5.7 / Exposure Time 1/100 sec. / ISO Speed: ISO-800 / Metering Mode: Pattern / Exposure comp: 0 step

  • This female Baltimore Oriole tugged and pulled and managed to grab the strings near by for her nest. She was a riot (did you know these birds love doing somersaults?) as she managed to cram just about as many strings as possible into her beak – heck with the feeder – she just wanted the strings! lol! As Is, untouched straight from camera taken last last May as these guys were building their nests. Rumney, NH, May 2009. Camera: Canon PowerShot SX10 IS / Shutter Speed 1/501 sec. / Lens Aperture F/5.7 / Focal Length 100mm / F-Number F/5.7 / Exposure Time 1/500 sec. / ISO Speed ISO-125 / Metering: Center Weight Average / Exposure Comp: -1 step

  • This little rascal (I call him Red these days) is trying to imitate Bob Dylan me thinks…. well.. the soul is there! He’s on center stage and the other critters are head banging, dosi-doeing, boogying and enjoyin’ it! I just love this little guy! As is, untouched from camera. Taken in June 2009, Rumney, NH. Camera: Canon PowerShot SX10 IS / Shutter speed: 1/318 sec. / Lens Aperture F/5.7 / Focal Length 100mm / F-Number 5/7 / Exposure Time 1/320 Sec. / ISO speed: ISO-320 / Metering: Pattern / Exposure comp 0 step

  • Red is now questioning life these days – he gets his pile of fruits and nuts and seeds, yet one minute they are there… and the next … they’re gone! Here he’s screaming for more! Watch out little chipmunk with the big cheeks… Red might have plans! Taken as is from the camera, Rumney, NH June 2008 Camera Canon PowerShot SX10 is / Shutter speed 1/636 sec. / Lens Aperture F/5.7 / Focal Length 100mm / F-Number F/5.7 / Exposure time 1/640 sec. / ISO speed ISO-1600 / Metering pattern / Exposure comp 0 step

  • In a canoe, a tiny ripple grows… and grows… and grows sometimes bigger than one would expect! Funny,... boats speed by and then suddenly slow down…. er…. trying to avoid tipping us but creating the “ripple” which can often turn into a tsunami to us! lol! Fortunately this one was a gentle one that fizzled by the time it got to our canoe. I really loved the dance of the water as it approached…. Taken in August 2009 on Squam Lake located in Holderness NH. What a day it was too!!! xoxo! camera Canon SX10 IS / F-number F/5 / shutter speed 1/403 mm / exposore 1/400 / iso 80

  • This is the Smith Bridge as we start to get snow. I’ve always love this view of Stinson Mt in the background and the curve of the road as it leads eventually into Rumney, NH. This bridge is located in Plymouth, once burnt down but then restored to it beauty of today in 2001.

  • Raspberry red, orange orange, lemon yellow…... The leaves were bright! This is the Stinson Mountain Trail located on Stinson Mt, Rumney NH. What a day!

  • Autumn colors line the stream located under the Stone Bridge in Washington, NH. Nikon D300 PSE7 (Up Stream) / /

  • Why do these do this every year? Not sure!! ... BUT I LOVE IT!! There are lots of explanations, but, although they all sound great.. I have a deep suspicion that Mother Nature has her wonderful smug smile on right now knowing exactly why these leaves change!!! I just enjoy!!!!!! Used Redfield’s Fractalius to bring out more of the dance of color in these show-offs!!!

  • This wonderful cone of a mountain is fun and challenging to climb up with its steep ledges and cliffs. Breathtaking views everywhere and so many wonderful sights to behold all around – especially in autumn. This was taken on Columbus day, October 12th, 2009. Located in Thornton, NH, this mountain is part of an interesting and fun loop (but not for the faint of heart! lol! naww.. just kidding!) with so many cliffs and ledges extending as you traverse to Dickey Mountain, it’s partner in this incredible loop of trails. View extend in every direction! 2600ft approximately, this is a great getaway!

  • It just keeps going on and on … through the mountains, the trees, the rocky ledges, the rivers and streams.. color is everywhere in every shade imaginable up here! Taken from Welsh Mountain in Thornton NH, this day couldn’t have been better! Columbus day, when he discovered America… yes, a day to remember… October 12, 2009. As is, Untouched from camera looking toward Sandwich and the peaks of the Sandwich dome. (also a great mountain to hike!) Camera, Canon SX10is

  • The forest here is untouched from the camera taken in early Fall, October 11, 2009. The leaves in this area were just starting to change. Each creature was brought in by previous captures, and by just taking segments, and then scaled down where they existed from shots I’d taken over several years, the birds being the last captures shown year, is the result. I just had to do this one to show the many creatures seen in the wonderful state of NH – you don’t always get to see them all at once, like this, but there are days when they are really “there”.. and you just have to look a little bit closer.. 98% of the creatures here have their eye on you… Taken in Rumney, NH – a wonderful and quiet town sporting Stinson Mt to which this trail leads up up up to! It truly is a wonderful world and, like a lot of people say, – this is God’s country!

  • Horses grazing in the field by the “Stone Church” on Clinton Road in Antrim, NH. The stain glass windows in this church were spectacular. Taken on 10/31/09. Nikon D300 PSE 7 / /

  • Nashue, NH / in the middle of October, 2009 Nikon D60, raw with texture created in PS
