This is a Shot of my friend Steve taken at My friend Colin’s house. We used Colin’s Alien Bees strobe through an umbrella using the Rambrandt lighting technique. This was Taken with my Canon 350d and a 75-300 mm telephoto lens at 75mm.
I was elated to capture this silly dog so elagantly :]. Maggie died almost a year ago now, and I’m grateful that I could get this shot of her. She was a Newfoundland <3>

An old abandoned root cellar in Elliston, Newfoundland, Canada, the root cellar capital of the world that boasts some 130 root cellars.
On a normal day, you can see a crisp pond, trees, blue sky, grass and a boardwalk from where this image was taken. But on a day in late winter 2006 when the fog set in, all you can see is this wharf, which appears to be out in the middle of nowhere.
