Windows set in the thick stone walls of the Woodbury Church, Woodbury near Geraldine, South Island, New Zealand. This church is the St Thomas’ Anglican Church built by the Tripp family in memory of local pioneer settlers, Mr and Mrs Charles Tripp. / The church is a slate-roofed building in the Norman-style and made of local boulders. This style of architecture was prevalent in Devon, England where Mr Tripp originally came from in 1855. In this photo I wanted to show the contrast of light and darkness and the contrast of the solidness of the walls to the windows.
