The New Road, Brighton, United Kingdom – Brighton is such a funky, colourful city and I tried to convey this into the image. The New road is a newly pedestrian prioritised street which has the famous Royal Pavilion and its gardens on the east side, plus a mixture of galleries, shops, restaurants and the Theatre Royal on the other.

This traffic cop stood out a mile in her orange rain gear in New York City! As you can see, I shot this just as a Greyhound bus was going past, which helped to create a nice contrast. Taken with a Canon EOS 450D. Title provided by my partner, Paul Wilkin This image has been favoured 30 times.
