  • Candid, Washington Square Park, New York Featured / Men Appreciation group SOLD Copyright

  • I was walking in Downtown Tribeca, NY last week when I looked up at this old building. It seems vacant and I had the sneaking suspicion that it would be gutted and totally redone. I imagined this old ad on the building would be gone—and so I shot it immediately. I see it as a historical view of Old New York. I did a bit of selective coloring play to get the message across more clearly. :)

  • Abandoned Motorbike

  • Lovely image of winter foliage with a slight coating of ice, lightly falling snow and touched with sparkling sunlight, against a background of beautiful azure blue sky. All artwork is © Rhonda L. • Mid-north coast, New South Wales, Australia. Best viewed LARGE

  • Original Photo © jwarburton 07. Post work in PSP. Someone mentioned on another site that she remembers being asked a test question in grammar school, “does the Statue Of Liberty really have sandals on her feet?” Yes, she has sandals on her feet, she’s moving forward with one foot lifted. She has the mark of the early Romans (toes) still visible in many people today – second toe is longer than big toe and little toe is “hammered”. :) “Is the Statue of Liberty in New York or New Jersey?” The statue is part of New York Harbor and sits in Liberty State Park which is in Jersey City, New Jersey. The statue is actually in New Jersey. New York Harbor includes the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, the first stop for all immigrants (1892 – 1954) who arrived in New York by boat. • From my Bird-Fish Eye series. New York city is too big for only 1 photo so I took 2. I shot this from the Empire State Building looking down town. I am ADD and Dyslexic so I want to make photos that I can look at a long time with out getting board. I have been studying this photo since I created it in 2006 and I will never get tired of looking at it. It has tuns of landmarks from the Central Park to Rockefeller Tower. You can even see a posh roof top party if you look hard enough. You can’t go wrong with Black and White when shouting New York City.

Photo taken during a brief break in a thunderstorm in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada (August 7, 2009). The sky was completely black except for this patch of blue sky and one brilliant white cloud directly overhead. It really inspired me to see this sight.
