A late night view of the New York City skyline and the Hudson River.
An early evening of the Empire State Building and Manhattan / as seen from Rockefeller Center.
This image was taken on the 2nd or 3rd floor of the Amex Building in New York. People were drawn to the view of the rebuilding of Ground Zero and were speaking so softly. Concurrent to the silent viewing is the incredible acitivity of rebuilding taking place in the area itself. Originally the glass wall seen here was opaque (marble, i think) but when the repairs were made to the building the marble was removed so that people could view Ground Zero. Shot taken with my little digital camera that i have since lost!

...it wasn’t easy on this one. I had to wait until it was clear of tourtists. And I was lucky that the guy didn’t choose to leave from his position here. I have no clue who he is…but I’m wondering if he invested with ‘Bernie Madoff’...just to find some alone time to be ‘away from it all’. This photo was taken while at the midpoint of the Brooklyn Bridge with the Manhattan skyline backdrop.

As we are nearing the 8th anniversary of 9/11, I wanted to post this shot of Lower Manhattan. I am a bit ashamed to say, that I have not seen the New York City skyline with the World Trade Center Towers. I can only imagine how magnificent it must have looked. We shall never forget!
