The wharf at Merimbula New South Wales, Australia,
When I woke up before dawn and found myself wondering along the shore with a camera a tripod, this was precisely the image I was after. The boat reminded me of the frailties of our existence, all alone, stranded at low tide, unable to float around with any dignity with the ominous clouds closing in on it’s steel hull. Yet it stood proud and tall, living each day as it came at the mercy of nature and the elements around it.

The Auckland metropolitan area or Greater Auckland, in the North Island of New Zealand, is the largest urban area of the country. It is also New Zealand’s most populous city with approximately 1.3 million residents, over a quarter of the country’s population, and demographic trends indicate that it will continue growing faster than the rest of the country. Auckland also has the largest Polynesian population of any city in the world.Auckland lies between the Hauraki Gulf of the Pacific Ocean to the east, the low Hunua Ranges to the south-east, the Manukau Harbour to the south-west, and the Waitakere Ranges and smaller ranges to the west and north-west. The central part of the urban area occupies a narrow isthmus between the Manukau Harbour on the Tasman Sea and the Waitemata Harbour on the Pacific Ocean. It is one of the few cities in the world to have harbours on two separate major bodies of water.(Wikipedia.org)

This painting with My Spirit Guides wishes to convey understanding. There are many aspects of your life that you have not acknowledged, especially the past. There may be feelings, memories that seem to come into your mind and you do not understand the message. Spirit is all around you, waiting, asking to communicate with you, I confirm this to you. There are so many Spirits within this painting. I know however that they will reveal themselves more clearly in time. You must be patient and work towards a better understanding of yourself. There is something you have not acknowledged, due to guilt, worry or apprehension. Your sense of privacy keeps you from making contact with certain people. This is a time to surround yourself with like minded people so you can feel more relaxed and anxious free. You must now cut the bond that binds you and experience the release that you have longed for. It will free up your mind and your creativity. The past is over and there is nothing you can do to change it. The present is what you should focus on. Make time for yourself and adopt a more philosophical and spiritual approach. Your Spirit Guides wish to reveal themselves to you and send you great love and encouragement. A good exercise to do is to write everything on a piece of paper, allowing yourself to write everything that may be playing on your mind. Do not read anything as you write. When finished burn the paper and let it all go. This will lighten your burden and simplify your life. Allowing yourself to have some fun and enjoy each moment as a new inspiring experience. This painting is dedicated to Jotham – Painted with My Spirit Guides – With / Healing Thoughts And Love From The Sparrows. Music – Schubert – Serenade 24th October 2008
Paddy’s Pub © Vicki Ferrari This was taken at Inverell Pioneer Village in New South Wales, Australia. I would have to have been there when it was a real pub and to have met all the characters that would have been there and to hear all their stories! It reminds me of time gone. When I was there, I could almost hear the horses hooves and hear people talking! It has a peaceful feel to it. Influence of nature. Graceful curves. The wispy lines resambles branches and leaf motif on this piece. Enjoy it!
