Taken at Norah Head, two hours north of Sydney on the Central Coast of New South Wales. Beautiful little place =) the lighthouse there is too cute.
/ . / I had some requests of a portrait shot of my photo entitled “Luna over Luna Park”. Luckily, I had taken the shot. I’m not great at giving photos titles, hence the title for this one. This was taken on the same night of my other photos “Luna Over Luna Park”, “Luna Harbour” and “Luna PANORAMA”. The photos were taken in quite quick succession. I attempted to combine the full moon, with the Sydney Harbour Bridge. You might be interested in viewing the other photos because this is in Portrait, two are in Landscape, and one PANORAMA. It’s amazing how a similar subject can be photographed in slightly different ways, and produce different results. I will interested in knowing which of the four is you favourite !

I was watching the movie “The Ultimate Gift” listening to the character played by James Garner talking to his grandson when he said… ‘Learning is a gift… even if pain is your teacher”. As soon as the words had finished coming out of his mouth I honestly said out loud – YES!! Immediately I was blown away by the quote and I wrote it down and thought about its meaning for weeks. I’ve never felt so affected by a sentence before. Upon reflecting this quote I found quite confronting to realise that I spent my twenties doing everything to avoid and “run away” from my emotional pain.. Now in my 30s I’ve realised that pain was essential for me to be a more caring, less-judgemental and forgiving person. Pain seems to show us the truth in others… the truth that all people, no matter what’s on the outside… have a heart capable of breaking on the inside. It gives me great comfort that I can now view the grief of my brothers death as somewhat of a gift to me – rather than nothing but a loss FEATURED IN Prize Challenges GROUP / FEATURED IN Creative Inspirations / FEATURED IN YOU’RE ACCEPTED GROUP / FEATURED IN FIRST THINGS GROUP / FEATURED IN TYPOGRAPHY GROUP / FEATURED IN THE ART OF PAIN GROUP t-shirt available .

You’ll know…........ Dreams Now here you go again / You say you want your freedom / Well, who am I to keep you down? It’s only right that you should / Play it the way that you feel it / But listen carefully to the sound Of your loneliness / Like a heartbeat drives you mad / In the stillness of remembering what you had And what you lost / What you had / You know what you lost Thunder only happens when it’s raining / Players only love you when they’re playing / Say women, they will come and they will go / When the rain washes you clean, you’ll know You will know, you will know / You will know, you’ll know Now here I go again / I see the crystal visions / I keep my visions to myself It’s only me who wants to / Wrap around your dreams and / Have you any dreams you’d like to sell Dreams of loneliness / Like a heartbeat drives you mad / In the stillness of remembering what you had And what you lost / Oh, what you had / Oh, what you lost Thunder only happens when it’s raining / Players only love you when they’re playing / Say women, they will come and they will go / When the rain washes you clean, you’ll know You will know, you will know / You’ll know, you will know / You will know, you will know / You will know Stevie Nicks
