Beautiful Paris with all its wonderful icons painted in a stylish, funky colorful composition. The Gesher Theatre in Tel Aviv Israel producing Design For Living by Noel Coward used the picture of my painting as part of their set in one of the scenes in their play.

All images in the Conquille de mer (seashells but conquille de mer sounds nicer) series are for a uni project called ‘natural’. This was only my second attempt at using the studio and i have improved alot since the first time – I have removed the first set from RedBubble as they lacked the quality of the second attempt

when I looked up there was a man on the bridge. he looked reflective, you might even say he looked sad. in one minute we had concocted a story around this man. it was fun to invent tales of woe for another man to live out but then as the boat came closer to him we saw a real sadness in his face and he turned away from the camera and walked away with his head down.

The construction of the Pont Neuf in Paris commenced in 1578 by King Henry III and was completed under the reign of King Henry IV in 1607. Restoration of the bridge started in 1994 and was completed in time for its 400th anniversary in 2007.

A very controversial as well as beautiful painting, as this watercolor is actually of Pont Alexandre lll, generally considered Paris’s most opulent and striking bridge, connecting the Grand and Petit Palais on the right bank with the Hotel des Invalides on the left bank. “Pont Nuef Paris” is one of three in a series the artist refers to as Pont Oops! Once mistakenly titled, Jackson now leaves the error for effect. The centerpiece of the three was featured on the cover of the Artist’s Magazine in 2000 and received so many letters to the editor for the “mistake” that they ran it again in the next issue. This is one of a series of architectural paintings by the artist of museums and monuments in Paris.
