One of those borderline days when perhaps they shouldn’t really be playing netball. What struck me was the similarity to some early platform games.

The silver fern, an iconic emblem of New Zealand, features on many New Zealand branded products. Many of our sporting teams clothing features the silver fern and In fact our national netball team is called The Silver Ferns. / This is from my garden….it is actually a green fern but I decided to give it a facelift for the photo shoot. / / /
The initial energy is gone. / Now it’s all spirit, talent, experience, fitness, and training. The break is brief. The coach looks to re-direct the mind, / The players look to recover their body, / And the team,.............. The team is finding it’s collective heart.

Hey all! My gorgeous little girl Zoe’s soccer team made it into the GRAND FINAL for soccer on the weekend (this was their first year playing!!). They played an awesome game but were beaten by a better team in the end. Thought I would share some pics that Bill took on his brand new Nikon D3 today… Oh and a couple of Meg playing in her semi-final for netball… P.S. Yep I am a proud mum, and nope I’m not afraid to admit it!!
