a typical winter’s day on our street in Estes Park, Colorado…
I heard a bunch of crows a couple hours ago so i went out to see what they were bitching about. It was this guy here, so i stayed with him until they left. I can snap off shot after shot of the owls but i still haven’t got a decent shot of a crow.
My Neighborhood
this orange cat belongs to one of the neighbors..and he was in my plants… / thought he could hide from me I guess.. / I used a filter called Lineart on this to turn it into a drawing..and I like the result
it was cloudy and snowy / and I was feeling kind of blue / when I snapped this photo / that I’m sharing now with you it really is much nicer / that it appears on this first glance / so I’ll try to prove it later / if you’ll give me half a chance

Just an everyday photo of a neighborhood n downtown San Antonio.
This is the (beautiful) region I live in. This place is about ~1 km from my home, so it is my neighborhood. I was walking for relaxing and taking photos of this place and suddenly appeared these two girls with their ponies. They did not see my camera so it is much of a candid photo. The “smoke” in the background is natural fog and low standing clouds even though it is 4:30 p.m. and it is summer. Nothing is burning :)) / Weather phenomena are very weird, instable and rapidly changing in this mountain area Nikon D90 DSLR. Nikkor 18-105 VR. / 1/320 f/10.0 157mm(35) ISO 200 Mode=Landscape AF=3d / No postworking – No photoshop / As is – Unaltered original image Germany
Today, July 1st is Canada Day and I spent the day driving around the city of Vancouver and surrounding area taking note of how people celebrated our great national holiday CANADA DAY. It was so interesting. In our travels I ventured up to the top of Burnaby Mountain and found the Centennial Park at the top filled with families enjoying the celebration in different ways, many of which involved a picnic. This is one of the picnics I came across and it stood out because of the large Canadian Flag planted proudly at one end of the picnic table. It seems that all generations of this family were represented at the picnic, from the very young to the seniors of the family. There was a baby stroller parked near the table which is not visible in the photo. It was a heartwarming sight on such a special day for my country Canada. / God Bless all the peoples of our great land Canada!!! Taken with: Nikon D60 – Lens: Nikkor 55-200mm
