Taken at sunset at the Experience Music Project in Seattle. The building was inspired by Jimmy Hendrix. The space needle is reflected in the side of the building.

Composite image from 2 photograph layers plus text and a small swirling graphic I made using specialized brushes. Dedicated to my beloved late cat Soxy who was cross-eyed. Such a good stepmum to other cat’s kittens in my home. / This Soxy became a custom-made bag, fully-lined, hand-finished and is available for purchase from me direct. The bag has won prizes for needlework this year at the Mt. Pleasant and Pt. Elliot Shows in South Australia.

This is another beautiful example of Crazy Quilts which were so popular in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. It was considered lucky to have a spider somewhere on the quilt.

Winsor Newton Watercolor on Arches 140# coldpress. This is a painting of a needlework that was given as a gift to my mother-in-law done by my husband’s sister before she passed away. Because he doesn’t have anything tangible to remember her by, his Mom promised the needlework to him when she herself is gone. Since his other sister was hoping to get it, my mother-in-law asked me to do a painting of it to give to her for Christmas.
