  • This little sweet kitty appears to be homeless and is living amongst the beach houses in Coralla, NC. She is the friendliest cat I’ve ever met. If my wife wasn’t allergic to cats, I’m sure we would have taken her with us. We did give her some dogfood (that’s all we had with us), and some fresh water. Sad to see a cat homeless in the dunes amongst million dollar beach homes. HDR Images / Prague Images / Aviation Related Images

  • © C J Lewis Oils on stretched canvas 30”x 24” (76cm x 61cm) This painting is depicting the power of woman behind man that can lead him to temptations where he faces his own devil within to bring his devilish behaviour to the without … into the world around him, which is shown as a black pit. Above his head is the way free out of the self-induced pit he lives due to his lack of self-control of his temptations and lack of connection to his higher spiritual self. FEATURED FOR THE WHOLE MONTH OF AUGUST IN Remodernist Painters’ Group / MCN:C85A4-E89C5-84C03 Below is the section of the photograph of a tree trunk that gave me the inspiration to paint this art.

  • © C J Lewis. Photograph of tree trunk digitally altered in PhotoPlus6. JULY 2009 FEATURED IN Core group AND Trees group Spirits live everywhere … even in trees :) BEST VIEWED LARGE Tree Of Life Is a digital painting done on the computer using PhotoPlus 6 software. I have used the original photograph of a tree and added colour filters over it as well as brought out the texture of the bark which to me shows living energy within the tree in the form of spirits living in the energy of the tree. The tree of life for people is of course their geneaology – their ancestors from which they inherit genes bringing their abilities and spiritual connections. THIS ART IS NOT FOR SALE (apart from as a card) AS IT FORMED PART OF MY WELL ROOTED SOLO EXHIBITION AND AS SUCH ONLY ONE MATTED PRINT IS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE THROUGH CONTACTING ME HERE FOR FURTHER DETAILS. / MCN:CA5A6-5A430-8145B

  • © C J Lewis, 2009. Digitally altered photograph of tree trunk. Fire Spirits Of The Forest Is a digital painting done on the computer using PhotoPlus 6 software. I have used the original photograph of a tree and added colour filters and the smudge tool to move that colour around to create what depicts a forest on fire showing the spirits within the forest that are present during the destruction by fire. The white lights within the fire are pure cleansing energies clearing out the dark spirits before the re-growth of the forest ready for a new beginning. To me it depicts the cleansing of life through death as pure energy is reconstructed through the birth of a new forest that comes with re-growth … much the same as life after to death, in my belief. • © C J Lewis. Digital art created from inspiration from a photograph of a tree trunk with some digital manipulation using PhotoPlus6. AUGUST 2009 FEATURED IN CORE group Below is the original photograph of tree bark that inspired me to create this art. and which I then manipulated further to create this photograph: which I manipulated again to create this final output of work which also became through splicing in two, Ghost Whisperers Hide Behind You (the digital painting) which gave me the inspiration to the do an acrylic painting using the digital art as the template for the acrylic. The same process applied to the digital painting Common Sense Calling of which I then did an oil painting altering the colours to suit my mood at the time of painting. / MCN:CWLBG-6U8VL-9BWGV

  • © C J Lewis. Oils on stretched canvas 16”x 20”. The photograph of the tree trunk that gave me the inspiration for this painting appeared to me as two elderly people with rather large noses. The young girl sees these elders as being ‘nosey’ – interfering with other’s lives and sticking their nose into other people’s business … a bit like the politically correct in this day & age. AUGUST 2009 FEATURED IN Creative Cards Group / 4th SEPTEMBER 2009 FEATURED IN #1 Artists Of Redbubble Group Below is the photograph I look into to and used to create this art work. / MCN:C3CYC-4W8FY-9K4TP
