UNTOUCHED…JUST A YELLOW FILTER ADDED. / This was takeen at Lake L’Achigan,St-Hippolyte,Quebec,Canada / I was comming back from breakfast in the village where I live when I saw this scene ,I stoped ,couldn’t beleive that I wasn’t able to see on the other side of the lake.Heavy fog and soft light gave me the opportunity to do this image,I just love it ,makes me think of an old painting.If you look carefully ,you will see the other side’s shadow.The reflection was great because there were no fog in front of me just on the other side.A very foggy sunrise it was.When I did this shot it thought about «Water world» and how our the planet is beautiful even with a little piece of land. / / / /

I decided to take of work and spend the day at the falls near my house. I must have snapped 200 pictures today. What a great day!! I found a new toy its my infrared lens. I can still remember my very first camera that my parents had given to me when I was about 8 years old. I took that camera everywhere and snapped shots of anything and everything, however it wasn’t until much later in life that I was really bitten by the photography bug. I was planning a big move to the Canadian Rockies and thought now is the perfect time to buy my new camera gear for shooting wildlife. I bought all the equipment I needed that would put me up close with all the wildlife that the mountains had to offer. So off I went chasing Bears, Bighorn sheep, Moose, Elk and Wolves… pretty much any critter I could capture with my lens. It was a fascinating and thrilling experience. Then fate brought to me a girl and she would change my life forever… Newfoundland is where I now call home, with my beautiful wife and baby son. This province is a photographer’s paradise. The scenes change from day to day and the opportunities for capturing them are endless. With my camera in tow I now begin my journey through Newfoundland, photographing and capturing her raw and rugged beauty to share with the world. I hope you enjoy the photographs presented here. A February storm unleashes its power in the beauty of non-stop lightning over Spencer Gulf in South Australia. This 15 second exposure shows just a small sample of a spectacular night’s viewing. The tiny lit chimney, that you can see on the left (which belongs to the lead smelter in Port Pirie), is actually 205 metres in height, which gives perspective to this, the power of natures finest glory.

This is again, from a drive through the back roads of the Dandenong ranges in Victoria. I was just driving around and stopping to photograph things that caught me eye (I wound up lost too). This is a plot of land behind a farmhouse near Seville.

This was taken near Wandin East at the back of the Dandenong Ranges. I was driving around through the mist and got lost. As i was coming around a bend I looked out and saw this.

Dog Rocks is located at Batesford near Geelong in Victoria, Australia. WINNER of the 2008 Henry Lawson Festival of Arts photography bronze statuette for BEST PHOTOGRAPH OF THE EXHIBITION. Also WINNER of the OPEN COLOUR section.

The making of that image is so simple,with Picasa I put the two pics together,one of a macro shot of bark without cropping and a portrait of my boyfriend listenning to his friends sitting at the patio table.I darked arround a little and that’s it.I didn’t have to do ajustment for the eye and the ear,it’s like the two pics were meant to fit together… :))) / I sold a matted print on the 29 th of november 08 to an unknown bubbler and that image was edited in the book “Gaïa the living planet” Same processing as Torn / When I did that image I thought about how menkind should be more united with the earth ,to feel renewed by the the contact of nature to become a better individuaL,TO BECOME A FREE THINKER.As long as we are trying to control the earth nothing good will come out of it,I often thought that we should be more like trees who are the lungs of our beautiful planet. / My friend C.C Arshagra wrote a wonderful poem inspired by this image,C.C realy understood what I felt when I named that piece. / That poem is called The Free Thinker would.. /
