Zen spa still life with Raku vase, natural dried flowers, basin, and stones.

Still life photograph of little flower and stacked stones set on an incense tray. Mixed media print on gouache stained and acrylic and Inkaid primed Japanese Kinwashi paper. Red ink stamped Chinese characters mean: Study, Dream, and Love. 11” x 17”. The original file was shot with a Lensbaby. The image was printed on Urara paper then scanned. That file was printed onto the altered Kinwashi substrate.

This picture was taken on a golf place,it’s on a top of a mountain,very impressive to walk over there.That’s the reason for the sharp line.I put a crescent of a moon and add a little bit of blue…et voilà. We can feel alone but being part of nature is the key for happiness , an invidual renewed by all the beautiful thinks arround us . / / /

On a visit to the Jardin Botanique in Montreal I was captivated by the Chinese Garden. Various ponds and streams had huge floating islands of lily pads. But it was not until I rested that I discovered these two lily pads and the reflections, just over the side of the bench I was sitting on. Taken in macro mode. as is… / this was a lucky shot . I was shooting flowers when I saw this grasshopper standing on a basketball base and gave it a try without changing my camera settings, to be sure not to miss it (yes, I quite often scare them ! lol) / I liked the DoF , how this guy peeks out of the smooth and light surrounding , and how curious this little cutie looks ;) / a print version will be uploaded soon DSLR Sony a100 + DT 18-70mm 3.5/5.5 Sony lens / .
