  • This is such a pretty little water bridge I just had to show all.

  • Location Taken Hinchingbrooke Park, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom. Nuns Bridge Where apparently a Nun had thrown her self off ‘and which allegedly people still see her in a ghostly figure to this very day in very early hours of the morning walking this bridge. Hence the name Nuns bridge.

The striped hyena can erect the long hair on its mane and appear 38% bigger, which it does when it feels threatened.

  • The moorhen is a medium-sized, ground-dwelling bird, that is usually found near water. From a distance it looks black with a ragged white line along its body. Up close it is olive-brown on the back and the head and underneath are blue-grey. It has a red bill with a yellow tip. It breeds in the UK in lowland areas, especially in central and eastern England. It is scarce in northern Scotland and the uplands of Wales and northern England. UK breeding birds are residents and seldom travel far.

  • Location Taken Hinchingbrooke Park, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom. The Robin red breast such a cute bird. This particular morning It was very cold indeed however this little guy didn’t seem to mind ! Robins sing nearly all year round and despite their cute appearance, they are aggressively territorial and are quick to drive away intruders.

  • Sun setting beautifully in this lovely woodland park, with a small wildlife water lake to the front. Can you imagine all them sounds I heard that evening… (-:

  • The largest UK tit – green and yellow with a striking glossy black head with white cheeks and a distinctive two-syllable song. It is a woodland bird which has readily adapted to man-made habitats to become a familiar garden visitor. It can be quite aggressive at a birdtable, fighting off smaller tits. In winter it joins with blue tits and others to form roaming flocks which scour gardens and countryside for food. They eat Insects, seeds and nuts.

  • The Catawba (rhododendron catawbiense) are the beauty of the high mountains. In the Smokies it is found above 3500 feet, and is the pinkish purple rhododendron. In some places they cover entire balds with their beauty. The leaves are similar to the rosebay but are a little smaller and rounder on the tip. The early bee keepers had to pay attention to where they placed their hives as honey made from either the Catawba or Rosebay is toxic…Some of the places these beauties can be seen are near New Found Gap on US 441, Andrews Bald, and Alum Cave Bluff Trail…Outside the park along the Blue Ridge Parkway and Roan Mountain of upper east Tennessee is know for the showing there.
