Royal National Park is just 32 km south of Sydney, Australia. It is the secondest oldest national park in the world, being declared soon after Yellowstone in 1879. These images were taken over a 2 year period and represent my attempts to capture some of the incredible beauty of this magnificent park. All the images are real – no elements have been edited in.

The scenery can be just magic, the atmosphere is very relaxing and it’s a great way to get close to nature and admire it. Surfing is an incredible sport and it really helped to increase my appreciation of the natural environment and how amazing it is.

This calendars main theme is the Weedy Seadragon but I don’t want your entire year to be weedy so I’ve added in a couple of shots of their cousins, a Leafy Sea dragon and a couple of Seahorses. All of these shots are from Southern Australian waters.
