I guess that to see all that destruction leaves me with a cold breath…The trees are frost due to the mist coming from the falls, and the cold weather…

Well fellow red bubblers here she is again , the creepy crawly dreaded Black Widow!!! lol lol / This one was taken on the next morning when I went out to water the lawn and she was still hanging out under my truck . When the water hit the web she came running out from under the truck bed and started adding to her web. If you look close enough you can see the stuff they use to make the web ( I don’t know the technical name for this ..sorry ) comming out of her back side as she went along attaching it. I was just mazed that I had caught that when taking the photo! This was taken in Odessa Texas, with a Panasonic FZ50 FEATURES and CHALLENGE WINS and TOP 10 PLACES: 1.This was Featured in the> Arachnids Group! You have to see in his eyes what I see…..again..this is my Kitty the Amur Leopard named Krepkey. The reason I love this Cat so much is there is always some expression going on in his face. I swear he knows me now as I know him. / / /
A rusty ole collection plate submerged in the calm waters of a buddhist shrine. Stray Yen have found thier way in there carrying small and large dreams. Mother naure casts a protective and watchful aura over the entire scene, almost as if she is ferrying those dreams to another place where thier case for fulfillment will be heard.

TREE WATCHING / BY: DALE CRUM This piece started as a photo I shot of a Crape Myrtle tree down in Orange Beach Alabama…then a layer of my eyeball…and several other original photos and tons of hand drawn work in PAINTER X. My Old gnarly sailor uncle always told such tall tales of tainted twisted truth…how was I to know which one of these might actually contain bits and pieces even tattered scraps of reality? He used to say, “the trees…them old trees… they know things son…they been around long enough watchin’ mankind…why they can even point you home…when the goin’ gets tough” The tornado sirens were screaming like a dying wolf at midnight… with its bloody paw firmly clenched between the steel jaws of a trap… the clouds were whipping at a most furious pace… the tin roof of Old man Taylor’s horse barn beat a loud gonging thunder… in perfect time with my horrified heart as I ran… the swift overwhelming darkness sent me into a state of such confusion… I realized I was lost in the deep woods where I had trodden every day of my life… Unc always said. “if you ever get lost in them woods…you jus’ sit down…and I’ll come find ya”…so I did just that… there I was beneath the ruins of some old farm house from a another time… the screeching winds surged again with a mighty heave and plucked off the last old rusted tin roofing overhead… and it spun like a giant buzzsaw blade cutting the tops of the trees in front of me right off like they were so much melted butter on a biscuit… I covered my face… all curled up, with my back against those cold charred remains of that deep woods shanty… when I felt an eye upon me… as I slowly peeked out from between my trembling fingers… right there in front of me… compassionately looking at me from inside an ancient crape myrtle… was this eyeball… I was tryin’ my best to whistle for Unc… but my lips just wouldn’t even pucker up!
