OK, I know this is not as brilliant as an HDR image, but the challenge is for a boat shot straight out of the camera, so this is my entry. This beautiful sailing ship was moored in the Dana Point, California bay inlet when I took this picture. They had sailing excursions you could take on this beauty. I have not been there in awhile but I think they still have a sea museum and still do these excursions. I wanted to go on one, but never took the time. Images Do Not Belong To The Public Domain. A very narrow slot canyon appropriately named Spooky Gulch twists and turns for several hundred meters through a dry desert landscape. Its walls tower many meters overhead while the opening in front of you seems to get smaller and smaller. Those hikers that are both brave and thin enough to fit through will find that they are able to make it to the opposite side.
