It began as a pattern and a search for abstraction and happiness in shape. / It turned into circles and stripes. / Before I knew it, all eyes were looking at me: when I just need to be me. / Are they part of me, or something that passes. Or both. / Everything is one when immersed in the sea of love.
Kyoto`s temples are filled with inspring scenes and places to photograph. It`s truly a photographer`s dream. The stone lantern was a great centre point for the picture and the ume naturally framed the lantern. I hope you enjoy it. !
Nature abstract painting. This weekend I was out in the Hajar Mountains , it is about an hour and half drive from Dubai city . here is what i call magic of nature , to me this is just God being an artist , we all can learn something from That. / these Mountains have many layers as you can see , millions of years old , and each layer only about 6 cm deep. Simply amazing what i Personally learn from Nature.it does not get better than this for me . / I kept the colors the textures the same as they are no playing around with Photoshop here.
dont know how or who set this rock up like this. it isnt supported by any other rocks around it. / ever since i first saw it along the river in tremont, i have wanted a shot of it. / doing a late evening drive last night in tremont, i decided to finally capture this before someone or the waters knock it down. / i think it’s an excellent example on how physics really works. that if something is placed at just the right mark, it can be balanced. / what amazes me the most about this, is the size of rock used, and then that little rock to set the balance just right. / i had to shoot this at a pretty low shutterspeed due to my lighting fading quickly. / if you view larger you will see, this river rock isnt propped up by anything, the only thing around it..is that little rock to complete the balance, because i checked the shot thoroughly to see if there was anything behind it

‘Before they were any Idians, the Legend People. To-when-an-ung-wa, lived in that place. There were many of them. They were many kinds-birds, animals, lizards, and such Things- but they looked like people….For some reason, the Legend People in that place were bad. Coyote turned them all into rocks. You can see them in that place now; all turned into rocks, some standing in rows some sitting down, some holding onto others. You can see their faces, with paint on them just as they were before they became rocks…...” / Paute Indian Legend / Bryce Amphitheater Kenab Utah 1.3mile round trip Navajo Loop Photo taken by Canon IXUS Featured In- / “America’s National Parks and Wildlife Habitat” Thankyou So Much For the Feature:):):)

CANON Digital IXUS 980 IS / Yorkshire, UK / Fountains Abbey was founded in 1132 following a dispute and riot at St Mary’s Abbey in York. Following the riot, thirteen monks were exiled and after unsuccessfully attempting to return to the early 6th century Rule of St Benedict, were taken into the protection of Thurstan, Archbishop of York. He provided them with a site in the valley of the River Skell. The enclosed valley had all the required materials for the creation of a monastery, providing shelter from the weather, stone and timber for building, and a running supply of water. The monks applied to join the Cistercian order in 1132. / The abbey operated for over 400 years, until 1539, when Henry VIII ordered the Dissolution of the Monasteries.

Labyrinths have always had a magical and slightly daunting effect on me. Possibly influenced by the David Bowie / Jennifer Connelly 80s movie. Walking around in the walls of a labyrinth, you have lost all your friends, but can still hear them in the distance, somewhere. Not sure where you are or where you are going, you stumble across an open area, an old forest. You see a makeshift burrow, made out of old stones, looks like it’s been there for hundreds of years. As you get closer, you hear soft whimpering coming from within. As you get to the old wooden door, you can clearly hear a child crying inside. That’s when you hear the growling behind you… Taken in Prague, along an old overgrown path, on the way to the hill that overlooks the whole city. I clearly remember looking at this and having a small shiver.
