  • Time to try another collage in the style of the Dancing Girl . / Look closely and you will see that this is also a pencil sketch.

  • Straight from camera I will donate 100% of proceeds from the sales of this image to The Wildlife Trusts Hummingbirds feed on the nectar of plants and are important pollinators, especially of deep-throated, tubular flowers. Like bees, they are able to assess the amount of sugar in the nectar they eat; they reject flower types that produce nectar which is less than 10% sugar and prefer those whose sugar content is stronger. Nectar is a poor source of nutrients, so hummingbirds meet their needs for protein, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, etc. by preying on insects and spiders, especially when feeding young. The female is entirely responsible for nest building and incubation. She lays two white eggs in her bulky cup nest about 3 m up near the tip of a descending branch stem. Incubation takes 15-19 days, and fledging another 20-26. A Cuban female hummingbird returns to her nest with two eggs she has been busy ! Below are her little eggs that I also have uploaded ‘ : Part of the Cuban experience… (-:

  • Saw this tree covered in mushshrooms. im shooting macro with the 75-300mm lens, and as im figuring out my “perfect angle” this little bug comes walking across the shrooms, just wandering around / can you just imagine what it’s world is like? / to us, the mushshrooms seem so small, but getting down to the bug’s view of things, im sure it looks as large as the mountains do to us / dont know what species of bug it is, looks like a stink bug to me / and who says you cant shoot anything in the winter? :) shot this with / SS set at 1/50 ( I was playing around with slow SS while shooting water) / Fstop at F5.6 / ISO at 100 / Focal length at 290mm / exposure comp at 0

  • Grey Squirrel with one of his paws on his heart. Image taken at Lakes Park in Ft. Myers, Fl. A friend of mine and I were having lunch at the Park and a cute little Squirrel decided he wanted some food. Then he turned his nose up when I gave him part of my apple, however, he came back to see if we had anything better and that is when he got into the pose that I quickly snapped.
