We are all just grains of sand in the ocean / We get caught in the white wash and tumble in motion
I wrote this poem when I was a teenager going on holidays to the beach in Port Fairy, Victoria.
Forlorn / As a tree stands / Alone for an age / Dies withers rots
Water rushes, sweeps. / Tide enfolds as ground moves round. Feet engulfed. Swallowed.
...to ask important knowledge. What have we forgotten?
