I loved this old tree, so I used it for this image. I added a layer of reddish bark from a pine tree for texture. I cut out the hawk from another photo and added him to the image. I erased out certain parts of the tree. I liked the feeling the tree had released the hawk to fly free for his hunting expedition. / —-—-—-—-—— / Photos taken with a Nikon D300, 70-300 mm lens.
