  • Mysterious feminine face concealed by abstract green forest. Mixed medium: collage, painting and photograph. Artemis is the Greek goddess of the forest.

  • “A human being is a part of a whole, called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest… a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” – Albert Einstein

  • After watching him flutter from flower to flower this was the one he chose as the best.

  • In the sky, light is coming, so glad we all have this day We all want one more morning just to know the night won’t stay Lift my eyes to the dawning to see the life start again Just to see one more morning, just to feel it all begin Just to have this day and life starting all over, for all it may bring A blessing on everything and one more song I can sing One more day, one more memory, one more link in the chain We all want one more morning just to feel it all again Just to have this day and life starting all over, for all it may bring A blessing on everything and one more song I can sing In the arms we were born in, in the arms that will take us home We all want one more morning, then we’ll take the night to come ~ Steve Winwood

  • Pay It FORWARD….RED BUBBLE HAS A WONDERFUL GROUP FULL OF POWERFUL SOULS…TRUE POTENTIAL contributing to the Tibet Relief Fund. / I am working on a piece of art for this wonderful group. Below is a family I sponser.. for three years I have assisted Tenzin and her mother Lhamu … she also has 2 other daughters.. they came over the mountains on foot to Dharmsala. I know many Tibetans and Chinese so I will not say the Chinese.. it is like say the Americans.. I only know that Governments do not represent the heart of a total people. We are celebrating our freedom with Obama.. and of Unity.. but let us remember.. here in our Country of America.. we stole.. like the Chinese seem to be doing to the Tibetans.. THE ENTIRE COUNTY OF AMERICA FROM A PEOPLES THAT NOW ARE REDUCED TO RESERVATIONS…. / So I do not want to be quick to judge the time and place for pointing fingers.. Let us say that I love my Tibeten friends and I love my Chinese friends too.. So.. The Power of One.. crosses to The Power of our Hearts for the fobiels of MAN.. PEACE ON EARTH.

The Striated Caracara or Johnny Rook (Phalcoboenus australis) as it is popularly known is considered to be one of the rarest raptors in the world. Its distribution is limited to the Falkland Islands and some islands off southern Tierra del Fuego only, During the late 1990’s, the species was estimated at only 500 breeding pairs. / The only recent information I can find (2008) is that the IUCN list it as Near Threatened due to its small population.
