  • And when I finally do surrender all…....................... I AM SO BLESSED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • “Marbled Sky“ I found this scene on the way home from a photo shoot with my sister, Manikah. We had visited Beaver Town to shoot the Arkansas Golden Gate Bridge. Beaver Town is a quaint nostalgic community just outside of Holiday Island, near Eureka Spring, Arkansas. Of course, on the way home we took every dirt road we could find! ...lol When we were crossing a low-water bridge, I happened to glance down I saw this “marbled sky”! My eyes are always searching for the art in nature :)

  • I photographed a picture frame and then made a montage using a number of flower photo’s I have captured in the last 12 months. The editing was done in Paint Shop Pro. Each flower was cut away from it’s background using the selection tool and then placed where I wanted it in the scene, on it’s own layer. I used the Deform Tool to scale down all of the flowers, except the Frangiapani. I made sure to reduce the length and the width of the flowers in equal percentages so that their shapes were not distorted which would have degraded the image quality.

  • Photograph made in Diergaarde Blijdorp zoo – Rotterdam Polar bear – after the swim :) – I think this is one of my best – if not my best- zoo-animal shot so far … totally excited with it – LOL Threatened / “The polar bear is classified as a vulnerable species, with 5 of the 19 polar bear subpopulations in decline.6 For decades, unrestricted hunting raised international concern for the future of the species; populations have rebounded after controls and quotas began to take effect. For thousands of years, the polar bear has been a key figure in the material, spiritual, and cultural life of Arctic indigenous peoples, and the hunting of polar bears remains important in their cultures. / The IUCN now lists global warming as the most significant threat to the polar bear, primarily because the melting of its sea ice habitat reduces its ability to find sufficient food. The IUCN states, “If climatic trends continue polar bears may become extirpated from most of their range within 100 years.”[1] On May 14, 2008, the United States Department of the Interior listed the polar bear as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act.” (source: Wikipedia – Polar Bear ) Photograph made with Pentax K10D camera and Tamron 70-300 Tele-macro1:2 lens / Post-edited and retouched in Lightroom 2 and Adobe Photoshop 7.0 Features / This photograph was featured in ! # 1 ARTISTS OF REDBUBBLE !
