Kind of a fun one…. I had this idea of the petals falling into the water, than I thought of put my friend in there. He says… “She loves me, she loves me not, she loves me!” Pretty cute, hey….:-) / / Used Photoshop to blend the two images and cut the petals off and rearrange them. This reminds me of September because of the song “Will I see you in September”. He’s hoping she still loves him. Hope you like! Add me to your watch list now

Red squirrels are an endangered species in the UK, their numbers threatened by disease, grey squirrels and habitat loss. There are still a few places where they are to be found, one of which is the Lake District where this extremely tame fellow lived with a few others in the garden of the house where we were staying. They all seemed to spend their time collecting nuts from the bird table and burying them around the garden. They certainly had no fear of humans and would join us at the garden table if there was a chance of a nut to be grabbed. Canon 40D with 10-22mm EFS lens at 22mm; ISO800 f4.5 1/400

Autumn has arrived here in the UK and the squirrels are everywhere, gathering nuts for the winter. I payed a visit to Belle Vue Park in Newport, South Wales today to watch them play.
