Taking A Gander Recently I had the once in a lifetime opportunity to photography the wold famous Arabian & Lipizzaner Horses, and this Colt was made the subject of most my shots, what personality he had, always posing for my camera, and quite cautious at times as well. Just going through some old shots and came across this shot , which was taken last year down south at Bunker Bay in Dunsbrough Western Australia early one morning . Was an 8 image stitch came out at over 120cm wide at 320DPI . Other news I picked up my Canon 5DMKII the other day and new Canon L 24-70mm F2.8 Lens . The Delaware Water Gap National Recreation area in northeastern Pennsylvania boasts many beautiful streams and waterfalls. This is a shot I took after shooting One Night Under the Milky Way I brought the ISO down from 3200 to 100 of course I had to compensate by opening up the shutter for a longer period! That night, Monday July 20, 2009, I was out about 3 hours and I could see this bright object just above the horizon to my left and in what must have been about a 2 hour duration is had only traveled about 15 or 20 degrees in the sky. I’m not completely sure but I think it is the International Space Station and that night it had the Space Shuttle docked to it! Virginia White Tailed Deer. Taken inside the Shenandoah National Park, Virginia Canon 30d / Canon 70-200mm f2.8 L IS USM A little post processing with CS4. I lifted the shadows a bit in order to expose more of the baby’s face. I also reduced the highlights in the grass.
