I take a lot of macro shots of bugs and flowers, it got me to thinking what it must be like from their POV. When I saw a large cluster of this ornamental grass (called Hare’s Tail/Bunny Tail (Lagurus ovatus)) on the beach I got down on my belly in the sand and took this shot. /
I was extremely bored today and I wanted to do something creative so I found the bubbles and started blowing out in the backyard. It was a little windy today so it was a stupid idea but I couldn’t stop trying, I just wanted ONE ! bubble with some sort of reflection before it popped. It was a mess, dripping bubbles everywhere and dropping my camera around my wrist a hundred times and then POP…..too late ! but finally I got one I really liked ….it reminds me of a garden globe.

The sun broke through this afternoon, so it was off to the moors and waterfalls again, we have had plenty of rain :-) / I’ve been to Thomason Foss many times, and I’ve often seen the heron, but the heron has also seen me and scarpered. This time I was allowed to share a few minutes with him in my sights, all but at a distance. He was busy watching the salmon trying to jump the waterfall, he still had one eye on me. I wouldn’t normally have taken the waterfall shot from here, yet I was pleased with the results.. I had captured nature’s own ornamental garden. Look at it large, I think it’s worth it :-) Thomason Foss is in the North York Moors National Park. WATERFALLS SET
