  • Aside from Hollyroad Park none of these images are displayed in my public portfolio. There are many images I’d like to share but I don’t want to overload my public portfolio so I’m using the calendars instead So my last day of work in London was on April 17th; and then my vacation began. On the 19th I flew to Edinburgh and spent one night there. My flight was at 7 in the morning, but to ensure I made it to the airport on time I left my flat at 4 as only night buses were available and they are slower. I arrived in Edinburgh at about half past 8. It was early, and the weather was beautiful. I begin my journey at the landscape piece know as “Landform” just in front of Gallery of Modern Art. Then I walked along, stopped at another museum that had a glass piece in front of it. There I was playing with my reflection for a bit then moved on. I passed a few things along my way to the Princes Street Gardens by the rock where Edinburgh Castle was situated. I explored around for a bit. I decided to reserve my visit inside the castle for the next day before I fly back to London. I moved on exploring the city and some of the architecture along the way. The rest of the day I spent hiking around Hollyroad park and Arthur’s seat – did A LOT of walking. I spotted some rabbits (there are two in the middle of October; though not easy to see here) and then ended the day watching the sunset. It was a great day where I saw lots and used up my camera and drained two batteries :P (much of it due to taking a lot of self pics with the tripod and timer). I didn’t eat dinner until after the hike; by then it was already past 9pm ~ All images taken with an Olympus FE-340 Other travel based calendars: / Around the Globe / Hayama / Italy / Rome / London /

  • From the Scottish Highlands to the Central Lowlands and from the west coast to the east, this calendar contains a mixture of landscape, floral and urban photographs of Scotland. There are daffodils at Hogganfield Park in Glasgow’s east end and an eagle watching over the Dunbartonshire hills mixed with a vintage photograph of an old style continental cafe reconstructed at Glasgow’s Transport Museum. The Monarch of the Glen stands proud in Ardnamurchan. There is a view of harvest time in Fife and a dog bounding through a field of spring flowers in a Scottish park. There are photographs of the romantic Castle Stalker, New Lanark in autumn and a boat filled with flowers and a robin redbreast, too …

  • This calendar is inspired by the beauty of the natural world and features a wide variety of beautiful flowers and plants photographed all over Scotland. With the exception of the hothouse flower the Bird of Paradise which is grown in Glasgow’s Botanic Gardens, all of the plants photographed grow in the soil of Scotland and include Scottish poppies, roses, daisies, peonies, tulips and mushrooms.

  • a collection of images of both Scotland and it’s nature

  • A collection of black-and-white landscape photos made in Scotland
