The most sought after form of wild life in the Great Smoky Mountains. / I have had the fortunate opportunity to capture a quite a few in their natural habitat. / They have a hard time trying to live a normal life as us humans take away their homestead. / I just hope with the photos I capture I can do this beautiful animal justice and bring back the respect they deserve.

Maandowie bushland reserve, Loftus This calendar has been prepared for the wonderful bush care volunteers who maintain this beautiful area that contains over 100 species of wildlife and approximately 400 species of plants endemic to the southern Sydney area. Many of these plants are listed as rare and endangered. There are also Aboriginal rock carvings and paintings located within the reserve. All photos contained in this calendar were taken, hand held, within Maandowie reserve.
