This is an original mixed media oil and acrylic painting. This is a painting from my “Native American Woman Series”. Part of my childhood was apent growing up near the Rosebud Reservation north of Valentine, Nebraska. As a child I became captivated with the colors, the dress, the celebrations and the dignity of the people. Thank you for viewing my art. / View susan’sgallery / View susan’szazzle
“Dressed To Dance” is a signed, original, oil and acrylic painting. / Painted on artist stretched canvas with wrapped/stapled edges painted. This allows for hanging of the painting without framing. / 16”x 20” in overall size, unframed. / All of my paintings are sprayed with a final professional artist protective varnish. The Native American people are one of my favorite to paint. The colors, the dress, the attitude and expressions of time on their faces is a constant artistic challenge. As with all of my artwork , my initials are on the front with full signature, title and date on back. / Thank you for viewing my art.

A mystical Aboriginal-styled depiction of the Australian Goanna features in this design. Goannas are a type of monitor lizard and are a very significant element in Australian Aboriginal Dreamtime mythologies. They also make great back-garden pets if allowed to roam freely without hindrance from dogs etc. They are an intelligent and at times, very amusing addition to many Australian rainforest properties. This design was first hand-painted onto rock then photographed to produce this print effect, “Goanna Dreamtime” is one of my earliest works in the 3D painting medium I created a few years ago. Thanks for viewing my work. ~ Skye

I truly hope you can appreciate this toned down version of my daughter Shelby’s Princess Sehoy oil painting! Thank you so very much for your interest in our family’s work! My daughters are both from the lineage of Princess Sehoy who was at one time married to David Tate in South Alabama. This has sparked our interest in this theme! My daughter was so excited & disciplined to draw & then paint this Indian princess all on her own! I am so very proud of her efforts & talent! Thanks so much for your viewing! Smiles :o) Leilani
