Dawn brings the first ray of sun past the cliff face and into the valley. Booroomba Rocks are a series of exposed granite rock faces in the Namadgi National Park, just outside Canberra Australia. It’s is a wonderful place to watch the sunrise.

This is Brayshaws Hut in Namadgi National Park. The first of three huts we found on our walk on Sunday. There are many huts scattered throughout the high country which provide shelter to skiers, walkers and the like.

This is Westermans Homestead in lower Namadgi National Park. I had planned to go back there tomorrow as it snowed out there this morning, but the fun police have closed all the roads in. Best viewed larger.

After much frustration recently at not having any decent sunsets or storms to chase I drove out to Orroral Valley in Namadgi National Park, Canberra this morning even with the threat of rain to see what I could capture.
