  • I spent half a night, most of a bottle of vodka and most of my favorite graph pen to bring you this… thing… I’m also posthumously dedicating it to Danny, who shunned my affections toward him and eloped with Mr. Ping Pong Letterbox. I hope your pina colada has spray adhesive in it. I am prepared to take you back if you are trouserless. Lady P models this fine piece whilst trying to take back Bollywood… / This is me and the midget exhibiting this piece of wank /

Through the fine initiative shown by Ashlee Maegan and my recurrent dismay at finding my letterbox full of junk mail and various institutions demanding money or reminding me how little I have, I would like to make a call to arms (And hands, left and right are both acceptable) and revive the age old art of postcards. I will send a random postcard (most likely heavily altered) to anyone who sends me their postal address on one condition. They have to send one back. Should you wish to participate, bubble mail me your address. I’m a little teapot! najeroux

I won’t be doing any price hikes Miss Tyler. Tis for your visual pleasure only. Enjoy and I’ll see you all when the weather warms up. • The Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos in Spanish) is a holiday celebrated mainly in Mexico and by people of Mexican heritage (and others). The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and relatives who have died. The celebration occurs on the 1st and 2nd of November, in connection with the Catholic holy days of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day which take place on those days. Traditions include building private altars honoring the deceased, using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed, and visiting graves with these as gifts. Changed the default colour to red on Scott’s suggestion. Can’t go past his eye for style.

  • “The mischievous Tokoloshe, a water sprite seen only by children, is a well-known and feared myth in Southern Africa. Villagers call upon the sangoma (witchdoctor) for assistance in banishing this evil spirit from their area. It is said that he is small of stature, can swallow a pebble to become invisible, and that he is disproportionately well-endowed. Women raise their beds on bricks in order to be safe from the attack of the Tokoloshe.” The Tokeloshe is South Africa’s version of the boogeyman. As a child I always imagined him to look more like this. Another reason for the regular skull drawings. I was scared the Tokoloshe would come take my sister away. But I was told that if you fought the Tokoloshe and won, he would teach you all his magic and you could be a Sangoma. Legend has it that attacks by the Tokoloshe can be thwarted by placing bricks under the corners of one’s bed, thus raising it to a height the small beast can’t reach. If you say “Tokoloshe” three times, he will come to get you or bite off your toes in your sleep. The tokoloshe is so well ingrained in South African Folklore, that even today, atrocities are commited in the name of the Tokoloshe and cultural consideration is given due to these circumstances. What was a cautionary tale as a child is today used a mythological scapegoat for horrid crimes. And some utter nonsense Also available in green fill

  • A green version of this. An auxilary note: This was drawn at work on sunday as I copped the verbal wrath of a spoilt and ungrateful customer over the phone. According to him, the equipment failure he was experiencing as a result of user error was actually my fault because the sales staff did not instruct him how to perform a desired function that he made absolutely no mention of intending to do. Dickhead. I just kept thinking how I wanted the Tokoloshe to bite off his toes.

  • There is no such thing as the State / And no one exists alone

  • A very long story behind this and why I am awake and sober at 5am on a Sunday. Buy me a Pint and I may indulge detaili.

  • My 400th cup of cold tea this morning.

  • I’m a happy little cookie, / a chomping, munching, cookie, / and I have a Tanny called Toekie, / And she’s a happy cookie too. I danced with John Coltrane this morning. I also like teaspoons.

  • I wanted to write something really witty about the human bodies use of perpetual kinetic energy but then I realised it wasn’t perpetual and decided heading to the fridge for another beer was a far more brilliant endeavour before going to the pub. Happy Friday and and an excellent jumbo green lighter holiday to all.

  • A present from the secret squirrel herself . Delivered by secret squirrel courier with other padded goodies. / This has a special spot to remind me life isn’t so shit if you break it down to basics. / A bright colourful happy drawing is up near the top of things you should reflect on at the start of each day.

  • My entry for the Viva La Skull Challenge. Join and enter you lazy sods! “Peel back my inked skin and see what goes on inside”

  • Tee made from detail of new Sanchez shirt I am working on. I rather fancy it and will probably break my purchase drought and buy it for myself because, well frankly, I go “BOOM” Can’t decide on what colour to buy yet, maybe yellow. COZ YELLOW = SUNSHINE!!! x najeroux

  • Sanchez has been wandering about all forlorn and weighed down by day-to-day shiz. No more! He’s going to go out and get a purple velour jumpsuit and a boom box so he can bust a move! Sanchez has been keeping me company lately (Along with Fitzroy, my drinky dino) najeroux

  • Just having a scribble

  • I elect the words of Patti Smith for I have none. You can hear her say them here “I haven’t fucked much with the past, but I’ve fucked plenty with the future. / Over the skin of silk are scars from the splinters of stations and walls I’ve caressed. / A stage is like each bolt of wood, like a log of Helen, is my pleasure. / I would measure the success of a night by the way by the way by the amount of piss and seed I could exude over the columns that nestled the P.A. / Some nights I’d surprise everybody by skipping off with a skirt of green net sewed over with flat metallic circles which dazzled and flashed. / The lights were violet and white. I had an ornamental veil, but I couldn’t bear to use it. / When my hair was cropped, I craved covering, but now my hair itself is a veil, and the scalp inside is a scalp of a crazy and sleepy / Comanche lies beneath this netting of the skin. / I wake up. I am lying peacefully I am lying peacefully and my knees are open to the sun. / I desire him, and he is absolutely ready to seize me. In heart I am a Moslem; in heart I am an American; / In heart I am Moslem, in heart I’m an American artist, and I have no guilt. / I seek pleasure. I seek the nerves under your skin. / The narrow archway; the layers; the scroll of ancient lettuce. / We worship the flaw, the belly, the belly, the mole on the belly of an exquisite whore. / He spared the child and spoiled the rod. I have not sold myself to God.”

  • I called Danny a cupcake today, and well, he is. Complete with brown dot. Had considered a chocolate chip instead of the cherry but I didn’t have the right shade of brown. Oh, and a wee spruik for Derwent – I am totally in love with the Coloursoft range! Have a pack of 12 at the moment and am kicking my own arse for not getting the full 72. Hand coloured for extra flavour and that squishy feeling inside that you only get from home made cupcakes. najeroux

I’m ageing disgracefully and doing the donation thing again for my birthday. (which, mind you is on the 24th of October, I’m getting in early) BUT I’m gonna do an incentive video again, but lacking ideas. So please, go forth, throw your ideas at me. What should I do if we reach target? I’m setting Target at $500 bucks again, hopefully we can crack it! If you want to see the charity I’ve chosen and the reasoning behind it, you can suss out the donations page over here I’m electing Mr Danny Nolan as the selektor of appropriateness. He doesn’t know this yet, but soon will :) Excuse me, I have some silliness to attend to. Snog Snog najeroux

  • I’m working on a new character called Leah. Thus far, the only thing I like about her is her boots, but that’s irrelevant. Leah would like to thank the Patti Smith Group for giving her something to think about. Brass bands in bathing suits during dictionary season are silly if wearing bowler hats without feathers. Sanchez told me that last night.

Help najeroux raise some cash for a worthy cause and then witness her recite poetry in costumes with which she is not usually accustomed to wearing. Also here’s a picture to say ‘thanks’ – is it the beginning of some kind of robot human love ? It freaks me out anyways. From here
