  • Taken in Nairne in the Adelaide Hills. The sun as it rose through the fog turned the branches & dried grass a beautiful golden red colour. I also used the ‘shade’ white balance, which helped to enhance the yellow & red tones.

  • Photographed between Nairne & Oakbank on Mappinga Road during the Easter Long Weekend. I have added a textured effect to the image, as the gums reminded me of a Hans Heysen painting. The blue tinge to the mist is due to the fact that the band of mist was quite narrow, and just on the other side of this tree & the mist, the sun was shining & there was a beautiful blue sky :)
