Taken in Nairne in the Adelaide Hills. The sun as it rose through the fog turned the branches & dried grass a beautiful golden red colour. I also used the ‘shade’ white balance, which helped to enhance the yellow & red tones.

The front view of Cawdor Castle. The big square keep at the back is the original part dating back to the late 14C along with the moat and drawbridge. The wings to the sides are early Victorian additions.
