Guys this was my fist attempt to replicate the exact expressions and that too of our great God Kisna…...i know its going to be a challenge but i tried having faith on my skills and giving surprise to myself…it turned out to be my own master piece…. / i wanted to show the softness blended with the courageous side of Lord Kisna who gave this world the message of Love, Truth and Karma. / By intrecating divinity and playfullness in his flute playing innocence makes him today a symbol of Love in this Universe….done wiht my little thumb’s nail, embossed on a specail kind of paper and coloured with wax based powder colours…..... / A New Year’s Treat….......indeed. / / Size is 15” X 12” and come as a framed or unframed….my most favourite piece of luv. Size 12”x 15” and comes as framed and unframed. / / All my original artworks are for sale…email me if interested. May this message & feeling help all all those who are challenged by nature…......
This was a fun picture to take and I took several pictures before I got this one perfect, where the flame was infact a flame and not a blur or a streak, where the fingers were visible, where the surrounding balck was as black as it could be. Now I didn’t want the house to catch on fire so we set this shot up in the bathroom sans towels. My brother sat with a box of matches and I with my camera, he would strike a match and hold it steady while i took the shot. Match after match was stu=ruck, some burned to fast making him drop it while others hardly burned at all. But often it’s the time you put into a shot that makes it all the more important to you. It was a shot I shared with my brother that makes it all the more special. /

Hope this doesn’t offend, not meant too, just too great a message from the owner I couldn’t help capturing it!! The glove is nailed to the front post of an old property at Furner South Australia, the remains of an old Cobb and Co coach house. The owner is so sick and tired of people helping themselves that he nailed his glove to the entrance post in an attempt to tell them what he feels about thieving and trespassing!!!

/ “Still Life With An Awl” is part of my new collection of paintings of everyday things…things like tools, that we take for granted until we need them…one of my favourite places to go is the hardware store…I love the scent of paint and new metal…I sniff the air as I walk in and revel at all the new things I could get to make my life easier…here is a new type of level, I say to myself…here is something for finding the studs faster, so I don’t have to go knocking and listening…here is a new type of tape that doesn’t rip the drywall to pieces after I paint…I’m going to treat myself to a Dremel tool with all the parts this weekend…what excitement!!..I can’t wait... I’d listen to the words he’d say / but in his voice I heard decay / the plastic face forced to portray / all the insides left cold and gray / there is a place that still remains / it eats the fear it eats the pain / the sweetest price he’ll have to pay / the day the whole world went away -Nine Inch Nails The Day The World Went Away I prefer the version of the song that starts with a loud beginning, but this is the version he made the video to. / (I did edit the colors on this one. They were originally warm colors, I added the greenish-blue hue.) Photo taken at one of the Edmonds Beaches, WA / (Puget Sound) © Jessica Walker 2009

I couldn’t pass this up, the color of the bricks and the way it looked as if it was once a window that is now bricked up just appealed to me.. Nikon D90 / 18-200mm VR Lens
The 5th in the Crown Of Thorns series. Dan came back for more, this time with the blooded palm. Don’t worry, it wasn’t my blood… The image of Dan was layered and filtered and then converted to black and white with the “blood” retaining its colour. I then added this to a texture layer and overlayed it so I could erase part of Dan to blend it in with the texture a little bit more cleanly. All my own pictures.
