As seen in front of a restaurant/surf board shop in Costa Rica. The tables were right on the beach and it was definitely a preferred hangout for all the surfers which meant lots of great bodies to look at while eating our nachos which by the way, were a HUGE portion! (c) Jocelyne Roy Phillips

Although some people like to experience a small sail boat, or maybe bounce around the waves on a sail board, it’s rare these days to see sailing chips. Back in the old days sailing chips were common, but not anymore. Perhaps it was the invention of salsa that caused their demise :( I feel very fortunate to have caught these ones before they, too, disappear. Very sad, eh? :) :)

Soo good! 28 tortilla chips / 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese (4 ounces) / 1/4 cup Old El Paso chopped green chiles, if desired / 1/4 cup Old El Paso salsa (any variety) / 1/4 cup of baked beans / / 1. Heat oven to 400º F. Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil. / 2. Place tortilla chips on cookie sheet. Add beans, sprinkle with cheese and chilies. / 3. Bake about 4 minutes or until cheese is melted. Top with salsa. Serve hot.
