Taken on the Gulf of Carpenteria. 3,000 head of cattle had been mustered from 20kms away on horseback to be put in the yards. An awesome feat and an incredible sight.

Here’s a “true blue” Aussie, taken Sept 07 … the ute owners weren’t half bad either!!! Rotten rainy day, but it didn’t dampen the enthusiasm. This was taken at the Gympie Muster country music festival, a few years ago. The friendliest and best people-watching music event I have ever been to! Only drawback if it is not raining, is the dust – especially for the camera equipment. Every year, last week of August. / www.muster.com.au

Fred the terrier and my neighbours cows…..well, make up your own mind about this…. Featured in Country Bumpkin and Down on the Farm Fred’s father was a Jack Russel terrier and his mother an Australian Terrier X. I guess that’s where he gets his determination from!
