It’s a long way to the top … rock n roll alleyway to the stars. ACDC lane houses the infamous Cherry Bar. A home away from home for many musicians and rock n roll lovers.
A close up shot of a battered and decayed piano laying on its side in an abandoned mental asylum.
Illustration based on book The Buddha of Suburbia by Hanif Kureishi. Mix of hand done drawing and digital work. Meant to illustrate a meeting between east and west, and the essence of ‘70s youth culture and music. Very much inspired by the music of David Bowie (especially the album Hunky Dory) and Jimi Hendrix, as well as psychedelic poster art, and even Art Noveau.

This graffiti abstract reminded me of drum and bass music. Why? I see a musical note, and the colors some how remind me of the cold and calculated computer-driven sounds of this kind of music. I would have to say that it is some dark and jazzy mix of music, just by the looks of it. It also reminds me of a liquid-pop dancer. Thank you. Found near Ebisu, Tokyo.
A female rapper that will be the next big thing soon as she hits the scene…..GET THEM NIKKI…SMILEZ~~!!!
An idea which I based on a photo of Maureen, a friend of me. / I actually wanted to make a realistic portrait, but then found this – more free, cartoonish and a little strange approach – good enough to work out… 0,05 & 0,3 Fineliner on Canson Dessin āCā A Grain, 224g/m2, 270Ć360mm paper. 2009.
