I wrote this a while ago during a time when I was a little depressed. Something I feel really means something in regard to the poem is that when I play the piano piece I had in mind as I was writing this (Chopin’s Nocturne in E minor, Op. 72, no. 1) I see the color wine red and all of the keys splash various reds, blacks and darker very passionate colors. There’s a lot more to it than just having that piece in mind, but most of it is pretty personal. It’s all better seen and explained in the poem anyway.
