From the Carnivalesque series – a little tee (Originally only available in white – since the quality of the image was much clearer. However I’m making other colours available as an experiment. The white areas are lost on the colour, which I don’t particularly like – but if you do then I won’t stop you from buying one!)

While there are many audiophiles who still prefer vinyl records over digital music sources (primarily compact disc) for their perceived fidelity, they represent an enthusiastic minority of listeners. The quality of the available record players, tonearms, and cartridges has continued to improve, despite a diminishing market.

A 1930’s portable, wind-up gramophone. Featured in the Passionate About Vintage group. Avatar for Depth of Field group, September 09 Taken with my Lensbaby 3G and Macro adapter, no aperture ring so about f2. Lit from behind with a standard worklamp – an Anglepoise in the UK (like Pixar’s Luxo).

MGMT (previously known as The Management) is an American musical group based in Brooklyn, New York consisting of Ben Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden. Originally with New York-based Cantora Records, they signed on with Columbia Records/Red Ink/Sony in 2006. On October 5, 2007, Spin.com named MGMT “Artist of the Day”. On November 14, 2007 Rolling Stone pegged MGMT as a top 10 “Artist to Watch” in 2008. The band was recently named 9th in the BBC’s Sound of 2008 top 10 poll.

Okay! Well after a VERY hairy moment i got my image back! Not the same but its here…:( I love records! I love my dads records and everything about them! These ones were or are beyond use, they are old and mostly Motown singers, i LOVE Motown! Amazing! Awesome, awesome. I decided one day to hang them in a fejoa tree (that i also LOVE!) and this was the result, ive edited the color, it was shot in B&W and put a border around it…..call me nostalgic but i almost had a heart attack when i accidentally deleted it. The 70’s were a GREAT time and i love alot of things about that era, the fashion, hair and make up, music for sure! This is what these remind me of! The 70’s. Great times for my dad and them and a time well of unrest in other places. I think i did it justice, i hope you all like it!
