  • Dragon Head rock…...well, it’s my name for this rock feature down our rough and rugged coastline….The shot below was taken quite some time ago and I’d always been meaning to get back to this spot again….Timed it nicely on this particular day as the storm clouds and light went wild – I love it when this happens – 1 min prior to this, it was pissing down rain and I was huddled under an umbrella out on the rock shelf, a few thunderclaps here and there..!! / As always, thanks for having a look and comments always appreciated…cheers, Rob..

  • Sunset along the Mornington Peninsula N.P. Coast..Taken after some great storm light as per some recent uploads..

  • Pulpit Rock in the background with a beautiful deep rock pool in the forground. The light really did wonders with a stormish sky and some good contrasty side lighting to bring out the colors…Cape Schank ~ Mornington Peninsula ~ Vic. Aus…thanks for looking….cheers, Rob..

  • Can you feel the coolness in this shot….? Taken in almost pitch blackness and between rain showers…Sometimes, while on location I think – what the hell am I doing here ?...cold, grey, wet, waves threatening to wash me off the rocks !! / This shot re-enforces to me why I do it and why I keep going back for more and more…...

  • Night approaches along the rugged Bass Straight coast. Stormy greyness and a big swell surging over the black basalt rocks with a longish 20 seccond exposure in the near darkness….Sister shot to the one below – thanks for all your comments and feedback – much appreciated….rgs, Rob.

  • Just another relaxing Winters day at Monkey Day Spa… / Honshu ~ Japan..

  • I spent some time wondering around this old Temple area in the village of Nozawa Onsen ~ Honshu ~ Japan. Nozawa being an old, old Japanese village dating back to 400AD. I waited for the longest time for the contrasty light to subside and just before the sun set, the light turned slightly muted and golden making for a workable image to be captured. It was quite peaceful, albeit freezing to sit and wait – the occasional gong from the temple echoing out across the valley. Thanks for having a look and comments always appreciated.
