the tide coming in over the stones at La Rochelle on very nice sunny day the lovely clean cool water just adding a sparkle to the stones and if you look really carefully you can just see the drops from the sea hitting the rocks! canon 350d

Cannon powershot s80 / I love the movement of the water on the rocks, very smooth and oil-like.
This creek meanders through Araluen Botanic Park and is an added delight to the parks ambiance. It eventually runs into the lake, where in years gone by, children learnt to swim it its icy cold water. Now the only feet to paddle there belong to the ducks, although I do remember seeing a work mate stripping down to his shorts and leaping in on a very hot day. This image was taken using a Canon Powershot A550
Kodak 10x zoom camera. / At the edge of the enchanted walkway is this lovely flowing stream , tumbling over rocks and under a bridge.
Besides the movement of the water around and over the rocks, I like the tiny red leaf that remains unmoved by the water rushing around it.
I found this spot on my sunrise trip along the north end of Longboat Key, and the south end of Bradenton…Key I guess, (always just thought of it as Bradenton Beach). The light wasn’t up to much by the time I arrived in the morning, and got a couple of extremely mediocre shots which’ll probably never see the light of day. I did resolve to come back in the evening though. After a trip to Myakka Parkduring the day, I managed to convince my wife that I really really had to go back to Bradenton Beach. I grabbed my gear and headed off to the rocks I found in the morning and set up. I managed to get 4 or 5 shots before the light faded. Canon Eos 5D, 17-40L, 32 seconds at f19, ISO 50. Filters were a 1.2ND and a 0.6 hard grad.

The creek, which flows through a beautiful gorge is among the most scenic in Pennsylvania and has become a favorite place of mine for nature photography. While shooting a group of migratory seaducks with the sun at my back, I turned around to see how much time I had left before the sun went below the horizon, and I immediately saw this. The phragmites directly underneath the sun literally looked like flames. Conaskonk Point Salt Marsh / Union Beach, New Jersey November 29, 2009
